Thermoplastic Rubber styrene- butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS)

Why Use SBS?

Product shot of SBS in it's natural form

Dynasol produces styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) block copolymers. These materials have a teleblock structure, based on a central block of flexible polybutadiene and rigid polystyrene blocks at the ends. The molecular architecture of these blocks may be linear or branched in the form of a star.

The great advantage in the application of these copolymers rests on the fact that they do not require vulcanization to form a three-dimensional network. This guarantees the reinforced properties typical of chemically cross-linked rubber.

These products are available in several forms: porous pellet, dense pellet and ground powder. Dry grades meet FDA and BGW standards.
